Historic downtown Murrieta might seem an unlikely place to find a “kitchen magician,” but located right in the middle of town you’ll find Betty of Betty’s Brittle, a candy maker “extraordinaire.”

Funny, how something as simple as peanut brittle could become a labor of love, but that’s what it is for Betty. So from historic downtown Murrieta, Betty cooks, and ships, her award winning recipe to peanut brittle enthusiasts all over the world.

Our cameras caught up with Betty after learning the late Fess Parker sought out Betty and her brittle, as a feature at their award winning Winery, Inn and Spa in Los Olivos, California. Apparently Fess had a hankering for peanut brittle too.
